Billy West Comic Con Ireland.
Well, rather, I've been watching it for a while now. To be specific, I started back in the summer, when my dad and I discovered reruns of it on MeTV on Saturday nights, and came in around the middle of Season Two. Rapidly it became part of our weekend, watching the campy adventures of Adam West and Burt Ward's hysterically straight-laced Batman and Robin, and all the gloriously silly villains they would go up against. And of course, that theme song...
Finally finished up Horizon Forbidden West this evening.
Just wanted to announce that, after tomorrow morning, I will be off the Internet for about a week and a half.
I'm going on a trip that I've always been interested in... heading out west to visit some fossil sites in the heart of the US! Specifically, I'll be visiting the Agate Beds in Nebraska, and the Mammoth Site in South Dakota.
People don't always have an hour plus to commit to your damn game, especially in the morning.
One thing Guerrilla needs to seriously work on is their exposition or at least WARN us to make ourselves comfortable for over a half hour.
Otherwise I'm done playing Forbidden West in the mornings before work. 17.5 minutes of dialogue choices and conversation. Followed immediately by a 6.5 minute cutscene, followed by 10 minutes of combat and cutscenes.
Brain: "You know all those stories you're working on, and that ever-increasing backlog of Steam games that you have yet to get to?"
Me: "Yeah...?"
Brain:
Me: "Damn you, brain. Damn you..."
Happy Halloween Nightmare Night
From West Point!!!
I'm in West Point this weekend with Sea Scouts.
Sadly no costume, just my uniform. But, if i did, I would be Juane from RWBY. I aleady have it from CloverCon back in May. (The armor is in my car, the clothes at home)
I'm thinking of redoing the armor. Possibly 1/4" or 1/8" PVC board
I am stll figuring out the engineering of the shield, which I know how it works
Anyway...
Happy Halloween Nightmare Night
I know, I know. I'm sorry for keeping you all waiting on my critically acclaimed and best-selling fanfic about Kanye smuggling coke across inter-dimensional boundaries from Equestria (and also Peter Griffin of The Simpsons fame is also there). Genius like this takes time, yknow?

When Kanye West featured Marilyn Manson and Dababy on DONDA, he didn't realize what powers he'd be truly reckoning with. Now he's caught in the middle of several copywritten intellectual properties and boy are they pissed
I won't lie, I have been absolutely captivated by Horizon Forbidden West.
The closing hours of Horizon Zero Dawn left quite a few burning questions in my head about this exciting new world, and 16 hours into Forbidden West, it seems some of those exact questions are being answered exactly how I thought they would be. So I want to see this story play out before I accidentally trip over spoilers somewhere, as the game is already a week old.

Time passes, and a damaged world teeters ever closer to destruction.
There is one who was prophesied as the one destined to fix everything.
In other realities, she succeeded.
In this reality, she didn't even begin.
Now she and others are dead, and all hope seems lost.
But the prophecies spoke of another, one who would bear her spirit in the event that she was unable to accomplish her task. That one was referred to as the "Mare of the West".
This is her story.
Western civilization began with the ancient Greeks, and the ancient Greeks agreed unanimously that their religion, ethics, and poetry began with The Iliad. So that's where my review of Western literature will begin.
Saw this on Equestria Daily. New map, yay! Yaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy...?
No, not yay.
When I was very little, probably five, I would run home every day to watch Adam West's batman on public TV. I didn't have cable when I was very very little, but Batman was something I never missed. Every time, it would sign off: "Same bat time, same bat channel." I was incredibly and obsessively involved with this show, to the point where I would shout at the screen to try to help Batman or warn him of things. Oddly enough, from all my memories from that age, one sticks out in my mind
